What guests say about their stay

Staying at nakadaya felt like stepping back in time. The owner’s tips led me to hidden Asakusa spots I’d never find alone.

The scent of fresh tatami and the cozy futon made me feel truly at home. Nakadaya’s charm is unforgettable.

It was a nice and clean Inn. The host was very friendly and spoke English pretty well. If you were out they would clean your room everyday. The rooms had an ac/heater to keep your room comfortable. There's a fridge to store food and of course a microwave to heat it up. Also a cute laundry room. Almost every time we went out he would give us advice about where to go and would see us off. Thank you for all that you have done!😊

The building is very traditional, with wooden floors that can make noise if you don't know the ninja walk, but it really brings a peaceful atmosphere. The host is incredibly caring and would do anything to make your stay enjoyable. We were two and had a third friend coming but she had no accomodation yet, and he managed to set a third futon in the bedroom for a very reasonnable price. Thanks again for his hospitality. PS : the futons are the most confortable thing we slept in during our whole trip (2 months trip)
